Lyrics

The lyrics:
The days of snow, solid and clean Like a flurry’s dervish spin. I thought you were cold, ungrateful and mean, And the thought buried me in. Ain’t it strange, that the ones we’re mad at don’t seem to even know? And so we pile high and heave a sigh inside our dome of snow.

But when steady light exposes the seam, the unraveling begins. A grain of green, almost unseen, begins to fight and win. Yeah, love is blind and it causes blissful Spring and now I know It’s like that shrinking mound, sinking down, heap of melting snow.

Bare and unsealed, the ground reveals honest offerings. A gentle gust of warmth above can set the frozen free. Set the frozen free. Set the frozen free.

You used to bother me some, you don’t bother me now ‘Cause I can’t keep the mercy down. Like a shimmering rush, climbing into the brush The beauty is full of sound. It may seem slow, but the colors are gaining and with every inch they grow. Just like that shrinking mound, sinking down, heap of melting snow. That lump of snow, that ball of melting snow. That speck of snow.
