Lyrics

Can I just tell you, you were the highlight, today? You’re looking well, too. It was so good to hear you say you’re doing O.K., you're doing O.K. Four months, today.
I’ve been rushing around town and I haven’t seen you that much. I get stuck in that desk chair and I can feel so out of touch with people I love, people I love.
Chorus: But sometimes in a quiet space, you smiled when you heard me say, that mind still turns to you. In the absence of our talks, well I fill it with hopeful thoughts. I think and pray for you. And I tell you it’s true. You said you were counting on me, too.
All through the warm months, there were some tough spots you met. We had our long talks. There were some tears that we both shed.  I’ll never forget . . I’ll never forget ...
... So can I just tell you, you were the highlight today.  You're looking well too.  It was so good to hear you say, doing OK.  You're doing OK, four months today.
